RBS's Australian Infrastructure Advisory Group is purpose-built to draw from the Bank's breadth of experience and products to deliver the most comprehensive and innovative financing solution for social and economic infrastructure projects.

Our Infrastructure Advisory team combines: 

  • Specialist skills in PPP finance, capital structuring, infrastructure debt financing and cross-border structured debt and equity;
  • Experience in PPP processes across various jurisdictions undertaken by a national team;
  • Sponsorship/project management expertise including liaison with stakeholders, design management, construction delivery and project co-ordination; and
  • Access to the Bank's global experience, product pool, investor client base and balance sheet, enabling the underwriting of tailored debt, derivative and equity products for each project.

These teams are fully equipped to effectively manage complex tax, legal, construction and project management issues to ensure seamless and timely transaction execution.

Our success is illustrated by:

  • Successful delivery of over 25 Public Private Partnership (PPP) projects throughout Australia and New Zealand.
  • Recent successful bid for the Peninsula Link (Victoria) availability road project ($759m).
  • Current construction of projects including the Partnerships Victoria in Schools project ($255 million), Royal North Shore Hospital and Community Health Services project ($1.1 billion) and NSW Rollingstock project ($3.6 billion),.
  • Recent completion of the construction phase on various projects including Brisbane North South Bypass Tunnel now known as "Clem7" ($2.9 billion) and Darwin Cove Waterfront Redevelopment ($250 million),
  • Projects in the operations phase including NSW Schools II ($120 million), Southbank Institute of Education ($300 million), Defence Headquarters Joint Operations Command ($256 million), Perth CBD Courts ($235 million), Brisbane Square ($300 million), Emergency Alerting Service ($80 million) and Southern Cross Station ($419 million).
